My Exciting Week

Well this week has been extremily exciting!
On Monday was my 21st birthday! I was so excited, I woke up at about 5:30am!!! How would it feel to be 21?? The truth? No difference!!!
From my parents I got a gold dolphin pendant, and a 21st Birthday key that my Dad made himself!!!

It was so awesome, I loved it to bits!

Linda got me liquorice, easter egg and a green pen! That morning I went to dancing with Mum. Mum's friend Margaret gave me a present- a silver key pendant and really nice lacy pink pyjamas!! I loved the pendant! I put it on the same line as my dolphin pendant and have been wearing both pendants since.
Wow I really am growing up! I've never worn pendants before, and now suddenly they have become so important to me!As for the pj's I love them too!That day I went in to uni for my genetics lecture (which was fun! I love genetics!!). When I got home there was a package for me from Anita! She sent me my birthday present- it was a hello kitty mirror from Hong Kong (she went there in the holidays) a card with a goldfish on it (oh the memories! Good old bio room goldfishies!!!) and a CD with video clips of the songs we sang at SHC!!! It was soo nice!!! I finally got time to watch it on Thursday night and it was soo wonderful! There were all my favourite songs! Thank you so much!!!
In the evening we had a family dinner with my favourite foods! Lots of seafood and mashed potatoes and ginger beer, and eclairs for desert! Yummm!!! Throughout the day I got phone calls and text messages and messages on the internet from my friends-it was so nice! Thank you everyone! :) It was sad when the day was over but then I still had my birthday party on Saturday to look forwards to!!

On Tuesday I had my media studies lecture which was ok.
On Wednesday I had genetics and that was awesome as usual! I love genetics so much! It's sooo interesting! Our lecturer is really good, he gives really concise notes and everything is easy to understand. I make cue cards after every lecture of everything we were taught! The only downside of Wednesday was that on that day my lab report was due for my bio lab course. We did an experiment and were supposed to construct a restriction map and include it in our discussion. I had done everything except the map which I had no idea how to do! I was really worried, but luckily one of my classmates showed me how to do it and so I managed to get it all done and hand it in. Whew!

On Thursday I had my 6 hour lab. This week the lab seemed way shorter than last week. I'm already getting used to the 6 hour labs so this week it wasn't such a big deal. In my hour gap I had my media tutorial that I was dreading (remember how I said that I think non science tutorials are pointless?) but it actually turned out ok! Our tutor was fine. After my lab I came home that day feeling relatively sane (as opposed to last week when I was seeing stars!).

Finally Friday came. In the morning I went party shopping with Mum, and then in the afternoon I went to my genetics lecture. The day went really fast and before I knew it it was already Saturday morning! Party time!!!! :):):)
