21st Birthday Party!!!!

On Saturday I had my 21st Birthday party! It was soooo much fun!! The best birthday ever!!

This year I had a dress up theme 'If like were a movie' so everyone came dressed up as movie characters!

Here come Princess Mia (Sonia), Anime (Mila), Pippi (Linda) and Mad scientist(Constantine)...
Everyone arrived around 4pm. I made up a quiz which had questions about everyone and you had to go around trying to find someone who fit each question. For example "I went to Malaysia in the holidays. I will be graduating from college this year. Next year I want to study accounting and law at university". -Melissa M. That way everyone got to know a bit about each other.

When most people arrived it was time to open the presents...Ewww!!! I wonder whats in there...???

A science book! So thick too! I bet it will take me a year to read just like the last science book I got last year for my birthday! Thank you Roma!!...or shall I say James Bond!

Mmmm I wonder what that might be...

I was so surprised when I opened one of the presents and there was a ...Sabrina the teenage witch book! I loved that TV series so much when it was on TV... it started when I was 11 and I've seen almost every episode... But no one knows about my secret passion of the past... that's why I was extremily surprised when I found this book! ...I had forgotten that I hadn't really told anyone about my hidden passion... except Melissa!!! Thank you sooo much!!Sherlock Holmes Mysteries...in Russian, directly from Moscow! Christina recently came back from a summer holiday in Moscow. 21st champagne glass from Veronica!James Bond you really aren't supposed to shoot Pippi Longstocking...!!!

After opening the presents we went outside to play treasure hunt! We got into pairs and had to look for clues to find the treasure. There were 5 peices of a map and you had to find all the peices in order to find out where the treasure is. When we put the pieces together there was a clue on the back about the location of the treasure... Then it was a race to see which group could figure out exactly where the treasure was hidden... Every year Linda is an expert on treaure hunts. And this year was no exception! She and Mila found the treasure! (it was photo frames)

By the time we came back inside the table had been set and it was time for food...

So we ate...

...and talked......and talked......and talked...The champagne...

...Liz and Veronica tried to get me drunk by giving me 21st champagne glasses... heheh only had half a glass though... have to say I prefer ginger beer way more!

Then Wendy arrived!!! Yea!!! I haven't seen her for over a year!!! I was so glad she made it!!! I really wanted her to be at my birthday!...time to open more presents... ...tissue paper??!!

Then there was the hand game. Everyone sat in a circle and you had to go around in a circle clapping your hands on the floor. If you did a double clap you had to reverse in the opposite direction. If you decided to clap 3 times the person next to you missed a turn.

So you went around in a circle......if you forgot to clap on your go then your hand was out!...by the end most people were out, and Melissa and Christina won!

The chocolate game! You had to go around in a circle rolling the dice.
If you rolled a 6 you had to put clothes on and cut the chocolate and eat it!...but the chocolate hardly got eaten because people kept rolling 6s!Lovely look Christina!...your turn!

The hand twisting game is usually quite... twisting... but we seemed to have no trouble getting untangled! Everyone got into a circle and held hands of people opposite them. Then the circle had to get untangled!

Who am I? Everyone wrote down the name of a character and put them in a hat. Names were drawn and hung above people's heads. You had to ask yes/no questions to the audience in search of your identityConstantine (I think he was Bugs Bunny) and Mila (Hermione)Tritany and Abbey - who also won the Oscars that night! Everyone got to vote on their favourite movie character and in the end Tritany and Abbey were our finalists!

That night I had the best birthday party ever! I was a bit sad when it was over. I wanted it to last for ever and ever. But I knew that I had heaps of memories of that night and these memories I will treasure for many years to come!
(I will dedicate the royal kitty photo album that Mia gave me to my party photos! There are just so many! Hence why it took me so long to write this post!)
