Happy Birthday Sonia!!!

Today Sonia invited me over to celebrate her 20th birthday (which was today!). We went to Kendalah outdoor pool with her brother and sister Aaaron and Nicole. The weather was really sunny and warm! The perfect day! First we had a picnic on the grass and made our own sandwiches. For the first time I tried the combination chicken and pineapple- and loved it! We sat around in the sun talking and eating. Then we went swimming! Yeaaa!!! I've never been to that pool before and it turned out to be great! We stayed in the pool for a while and then Sonia and Aaron decided to get out... but me and Nicole stayed in for longer... we probably would not have got out for ages if Aaron and Sonia hadn't started eating delicious afghans! When we saw them we got out right away! We wanted some too!!

When we got back to Sonia's house we played with her tabby kitten Tigger (sooo adorable!! but so tiny!... compared to Lola!...I can't believe Misty was ever that small!) Tigger could fit into the palm of my hand!! Nicole and I took him for a walk around the yard in his little harness- or he'd run away! He was sooo cute!!! Sonia and I sat outside on the swing and talked for a while. She starts back at university on Monday! How horrible! It would be so hard to study in such beautiful weather! I still have a month holiday! Feeling lucky...

Aaron showed me his new scooter (which is kind of like a motorbike, except less wobbly and you only need your learners licence to drive it!) and I decided that I want one too! They come in different colours -imagine getting an orange one!! So yes, now I want a scooter! Then I can drive it to work... after I officially graduate in 2010!! ...Maybe I will have enough motivation to get my learners...maybe... Aaron, Nicole and Sonia (and the cake)

Then we went back inside and had cake. After chatting some more, Sonia took me home.
It had been an awesome day and we had a great time!!! :) ...I just wish Sonia's holiday didn't have to end so soon... oh well I'm sure we'll meet up heaps throughout the semester anyway! And we do have holidays every 6 weeks... :)
