Going back in time...!!!
Today was probably the most exciting day I have had these holidays. Today lunchtime I went back to visit Sacred Heart College. It was sooo nice to be back and it felt as though it were yesterday that I was still a student there! It felt a bit strange though, having to wear a visitors pass. But nevertheless, very grown up!
I felt like I had stuck my head into a history painting! Nothing much has changed since the last time I was there. All the buildings were the same and so were the teachers. I had arranged to meet up with Mrs Burrell and it was so nice to catch up with her, and also Mrs Blackburn! It felt so nice to be back at school where everyone knows you (to an extreme level, I must add!)! I also visited the library and Mrs Lawson, and met a bunch of other teachers, most of whoo were from the science department (typical! Mr Marston, Mr Curwen, Mrs Dick... the only person missing was Mrs Chisholm! What a shame :( ).
Mrs Burrell and I had a nice long catch-up session. I told her all about my studies etc etc. She even asked me to ccome and give some guest lectures sometime next year to her science/biology classes! Yippee! Had a nice blab with Mrs Blackburn also. Wahh I want to be in her class again!! Then I helped Mrs Burrell clear out the microscope room which is going to be demolished and altered in the summer holidays. :( Sadly. I liked that little room!
I came to school at lunchtime and ended up staying until 4pm! I did not want to leave. It felt so nice to be back! I decided I love both School and University, each in their own way.
I was in such a great mood after I came back from school! Only now I feel school sick again! Wahhh I miss scool now!!
...Going to go to junior prizegiving on the 15th of December :)
I just realized that this is the first year that I have missed out on going to SHC senior prizegiving. I was feeling really tired that day because it was straight after exams were over. So I didn't end up going, sadly. But hey, this time I'll go to the junior one! :)
...I really must visit school more often... Now that I'm too grown up to be shy... ;) And I still want to work at SHC some day... :)
